THE NUTCRACKER

Symphony Nova Scotia’s Nutcracker is a  timeless holiday tradition. This ballet, co-produced with Halifax Dance and Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, continues to inspire and delight children of all ages.

2024 AUDITION NOTICE

Fee: $20

Location: Halifax Dance, 1505 Barrington Street.

Children's Audition: Tuesday, June 18, 2024

Group A: 6:00-6:45pm
Group B: 6:45-7:30pm
Callbacks from Group A & B: 7:30-8:15pm

  • Dancers must be at least nine years of age by September 30

  • Dancers must be no taller than 5 ft.

  • Ballet training is required

  • Dramatic abilities are an asset

  • Children are to perform as mice and young children

Dancer Audition: Wednesday, June 19, 2024

Group A: 6:00-6:45pm
Group B: 6:45-7:30pm
Callbacks from Group A & B: 7:30-8:30pm

  • Dancers must be 5 ft. or taller

  • Ballet training is required

  • Dramatic abilities are an asset
