Emma Scott

Emma has been dancing since the age of 5, and has danced competitively since she was 8. She found her true passion for choreography and teaching at her arts high school, Cawthra Park Secondary School, where she learned and worked with many professional dancers. Since graduating, Emma has continued her dance journey as a member of Dalhousie University’s competitive dance team, the Black and Gold Dance Team (BGDT)! Emma has been a council member for the last two years, and will be the President for the 2024-2025 season. She has also had the incredible opportunity to choreograph for the BGDT for the last few years and is so excited to do so again this year. Emma has experience teaching all ages in a variety of styles, but her favourite would have to be contemporary.
